Señora Fontanella, a native of Barcelona in the Catalan region of Spain, shared that region's holiday tradition of Caga Tió- the poop log. Caga Tió is a log with a red hat, friendly face and blankets. When he is hit with sticks, he "poops" presents under his blanket for good girls and boys!

Mrs. Reilly's ELA classes conducted a Socratic Seminar this week as part of their Space Race unit. Students created, posed, answered and debated questions about the use of dogs and other animals in the early days of space exploration. The moderated discussion was thoughtful and collegial, with deep thinking about ethics and science. Great job, Mustangs!
